Characteristics
Braided of chemical-resistant fiberglass and fully impregnated with PTFE style 570 is firmer and denser than the 410 and will withstand higher pressures and temperatures. (Style 570-Patented) Operating Conditions Will allow pressures of 150 psig at 350° F and 50 psig at temperatures of 500° F. The PH range of 570 is 1-11 with the exception of hydrofluoric acid. The above pressure/temperature relationships assume average finish on smooth flanges. If the surface is very smooth, the pressure values will be reduced and if the surface is grooved the pressures may be increased. |
