Construction
Manufactured in the interbraid method from any of the several PTFE/Graphite yarns commercially available, all of which display well-known user-friendly characterisitics. Characteristics Easy to cut and install, STYLE 462 conforms readily to surface irregularities. Rapid break-in characteristics are aided by a siliconization process and substantial, documented heat transfer capabilities are experienced. STYLE 462 as a product type, is perhaps the most recognized and used generic product. STYLE 462 can be used in both dirty and clean environments with the exception of strong oxidizing applications.
