Description
A clean, field proven, general purpose packing designed to replace previously used packings in difficult applications. Style 270 is cross-lock braided, special blend of spun Aramid yarn with a full PTFE impregnation and finished with a high purity break-in lubricant. Characteristics A strong, cool running packing that is easy to install. Suitable for rotary, reciprocating and moderate temperature valve applications. An ideal substitute for PTFE- Treated packings. Style 270 also has good solvent resistance. Not suggested for severe chemical applications. Reported Values of Performance
